Tennis ace Venus Williams arrived at the party carrying a striking, nude Tory Burch bag as models from Bloomingdale’s strutted around the room in spring styles from the store. The fashion-loving athlete’s purse is called the “Amanda Shopper” and costs $550 on Toryburch.com.
Williams chatted with partygoers and posed for an epic amount of photos with camera-happy people in the crowd. I later observed Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts, give her a tour of the super sweet digs. Perhaps Williams will purchase a penthouse of her own there. With an estimated net worth of $60 million, the Palm Beach Gardens resident could certainly afford it.
