The Miu Miu store in the Bal Harbour Shops hosted a party last month for more than 200 Miami trendsetters and philanthropists. Model Ines Rivero and socialites Jeffery Berkowitz, Allison Spear, Dana Shear, Hernan Arriag and Stephanie Rosen were also in the house.
The brand is a younger division of Prada and named after Prada’s designer, Miuccia Prada. Her nickname is…Miu Miu. While that sounds like a sound a cat makes, the line is an irresistable blend of handbags, shoes and dresses that give off a highend art-meets-street chic vibe. Guests sipped cocktails and perused Miu Miu’s resort 2010 collection, which was inspired by Miami in the 1940’s. Proceeds from Nov. 19th through Nov. 24th were donated to the Miami Children’s Museum.
