Fashion’s Night Out invaded America last night…here’s a report from what happened in West Palm Beach last night

Kari_BarnettFashionistas can definitely pick up a tip or two on how to shop from Forum Publishing Group’s Palm Beach editor Kari Barnett. She’s an expert on designer deals. Here, she shares her Fashion’s Night Out shopping adventure with Glamazon Style Files!

“Rain didn’t put a damper on the proverbial fashion parade at CityPlace in West Palm Beach during Fashion’s Night Out. A DJ staked out Banana Republic’s entryway window pumping jams from the likes of Madonna and Rihanna. While shoppers danced the night away on the store’s rich hardwood floors, I feverishly flipped through those famous wood hangers in search of the best deals – everything was an extra 40 percent off in honor of the night. I picked up a classic long-sleeve white T-shirt in anticipation of the fall ($6) and a turquoise double-lined V neck for $7.
But the real bargains were to be had in the clearance jewelry box. Here’s my haul:
Turquoise stone earrings – $9 (originally $30)
Pink beaded headband – $3.60
Gray satin braided necklace – $5.40 (originally $56)
Super amazing deal: Leather braided metallic blue bracelet – $7.80 (originally $95)
CityPlace eateries Panera Bread and Sugar Chef Cupcakes provided shoppers with sweet treats to keep them moving from store to store. My favorite: Sugar Chef’s blackout cupcake with vanilla frosting.
Fashion Night Out was fabulous!”
