The Promenade at Coconut Creek is a fun shopping center with a good variety of stores such as Banana Republic, DSW Shoe Warehouse and Soma Intimates. Unfortunately, I think it’s a shopping center many locals still haven’t discovered and several stores have had to close its doors. Douglas Cosmetics is sadly another victim of this rotten economy. The boutique-style cosmetics and perfume emporium is selling the majority of its remaining stock for 50 percent off. I got several bottles of Molton Brown shower gel and Tocca candles and perfumes for less than$20 each, which is a total bargain. These products rarely go on sale and are being sold for full price on NeimanMarcus.com. There are still some items from Tocca, Molton Brown, Too Faced and The Balm for half-price. The store will then shut its doors for good Sept. 1, so hurry over.
